Nose of smoke and spice, a slight tang like sour cherries. Definitely spice forward on the palate, more smoke, the malt is present but not overwhelming. Have not tried it yet but imagine it will make a fun Manhattan.

A review of 90 seems generous. Mild on the nose, the taste of fruits is forward, but when you let the whiskey linger on the tongue it is bitter, almost salty. The taste could go in several directions but doesn’t choose one. Maybe that lends itself to a wide appeal, but definitely does not differentiate itself.

Definitely more spice than sweet, but a good value for the price. I’d probably still pick a Rittenhouse or similar if I was looking for a spice, but it’s worth trying.

Definitely spicy, but with some rich sweetness, like cereal and red apples. Full flavor worth drinking unmixed and without ice; doesn’t need to be chilled to release full flavor.

Very nice. Definitely apple pie reminiscent on the front, witch cinnamon-clove spice on the back. Some heat on the nose, but only in a close smelling, not a big scent like a rye. Dangerously easy to drink.

Fruit up front is very strong. Mild heat on the back. Pleasant but benefits from a bit of water.

I actually liked this, it’s definitely a unique flavor. Almost a hint of banana on the front, but not like Jack Daniels, sweeter than that. Wheat comes through and it’s pretty good.
