Sonoma County Distilling Co. Cherrywood Rye Whiskey (Batch #1)
Rye — California, USA
Reviewed June 19, 2022 -
My favorite rye. Neutral sweet opener, deep vanilla body, with a long tannic finish, thats also pretty alcoholic and burny, but contrasts nicely with the sweet vanilla flavors. I think the roughness of it may put some people off, but the flavors underneath it are better than most whiskeys ive tasted.

Humboldt Distillery Organic Malt
Blended — Humboldt, USA
Reviewed September 24, 2021 (edited December 9, 2023)Mild flavors of honey, malt sweetness, with a finish of oak. It says distilled from malt, but tastes more like a 6-12 month aged corn whiskey to me, or maybe from 2 row malt with no peat so a unique American whiskey product. Good for sipping and even better in a cocktail. Neutral enough but smooth and flavorful enough to provide a nice backbone to a good cocktail.42.0 USD per Bottle
