Luxardo cherries with a side of barrel char. It's absolutely amazing. I know these are single barrels and vary bit this is a hitter. Barrel filled on 2/16/12, purchased late 2023, so 11ish yesrs old.

On its own, it's a delicious whiskey. Super sweet turning to spicy cinnamon on the finish. Paired with a cigar and it opens up into fruit flavors, cola/dr pepper flavors, and more. Will only pair with a cigar once I find another bottle...

At first it was overly oaked but after sitting for a couple weeks it opened up. Still not as good as expected. 14 and 15yo are much better

Somerville Super Saver pick. 132 proof. The first half of the bottle was spicy, oaky cherries. Two weeks later, the caramel is coming on strong. No matter what, she is a spicy gal at 132 proof.
