Hint of alcohol is more prominent. Also It’s very different from Oak or Sherry cask. This Mizunara cask is light, fruity, and slightly herbal. Overall it’s a smooth blended whiskey for everyday relaxation. I’m not a big fan of its after taste. It’s light weight and leaves a questionable bitterness.

My all time favorite Islay Single Malt. It’s not for everyone and have very strong peat smoke taste. It’s one of those drink that you crave from time to time. And there is nothing like it.

It’s a very friendly and approachable drink for even non scotch lovers. I would say that it’s not unique but very rich, buttery, smooth, and leaves a very subtle after taste. For its price I may want to get something more unique. But still it’s one of my favorite.
