Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey
Blended — Ireland
Reviewed March 20, 2021 (edited December 10, 2021)The nose is gentle with a blend of honey and creamed corn. On the tongue, a slow build of tropical fruits, mostly banana, coconut, and honey. Remains creamy and oily throughout, giving a smooth, easy-sipping experience. The finish is warm and sweet to the very end. -
Dailuaine 1997 22 Year (Signatory)
Single Malt — Speyside, Scotland
Reviewed March 20, 2021 (edited June 19, 2021)Very aggressive, forward nose. Crisp scent of lemon and rich fruits. On the palate, immediately punches with a magnitude of fiery spice with a foundation of rich vanilla and BBQ. As it sits on the tongue, the spices become clearer, spraying with notes of cinnamon, paprika, cardamom, and fennel. The spices remain for a long time after, leaving you with an interesting after taste of licorice. -
Pike Creek 10 Year Rum Barrel Finish
Canadian — Ontario, Canada

This time, on the nose, there is a strong medicinal hand sanitizer smell, with a under-pinning of rye and corn grains. On the palate, a heavy bran base flavor, with spikes of black pepper and cayenne. -
Pike Creek 10 Year Rum Barrel Finish
Canadian — Ontario, Canada
Reviewed January 15, 2021 (edited August 5, 2021)The nose dances with sweet cereal, with flourishes of rich dates and subtle pineapple. The build on the tongue is gradual as it begins with creamed corn, continues to a cool mint, and ending in the realm of a spiced rum and fruitcake.
