Tastes

Begins with a scent of grass, cereal and sweet fruit. As it slides down the tongue, it feels and tastes of leather and vanilla, finishing with a tingle of pepper and spice.

On the nose, your senses are attacked by musty foot odor. On the palate, it doesn't get much better. The tongue gets a strong, oily, Gorgonzola cheese taste. The cheese flavor lingers for a long time, without any interesting notes at the end.

On the nose, salty notes with toasted marshmallows and campfire. On the palette, it is easy to sip with light fruits and honey, with a constant glow of peaty smoke and oak.

Ripened fruit, prunes, and fruitcake on the nose, with a leather, wood undertone. In the mouth, a gradual build of coffee and fruitcake, concluding with a taste of rich cocoa and citrus zest, all with a sherried wood baseline throughout.

On the nose, notes of sweet and rich maple syrup. On the palette, smooth oak and subtle pancakes. At the tail end, it concludes with a spicy burst of black pepper and cinnamon. The spicy kick gets subtler as the whisky aerates, through it remains present.

Touches of cream and honey on the nose, with a hint of timber. Thick and oily in the glass and on the tongue. Starts with a melting of milk chocolate and vanilla, ending with a spark of black pepper.

Strong aroma of sugar roasted hazelnuts, with a hint of plum. On the tongue, a smooth wave coats the mouth with sweet sugar-coated raisin bran and bits of crushed corn. Throughout, there are subtle notes of maple syrup and french toast.

Heavy scent of frosting covered cinnamon roll, like a Cinnabon. On the tongue, it is incredibly smooth. It starts with a number of flavors, including dark chocolate and deep, rich dried fruit, like raisins and apricots. It then smoothly transitions to orange and citrus flavors, and ginger.

Balvenie This might be some psychology, but on the nose, there is a clear scent of pineapple, coconut, and mango. On the palate, it starts as a creamy vanilla and smoothly transitions to a fruity pina colada with a little salty, spicy kick.

Strong smells of peat, smoke, and oak. On the tongue, immediate wave of brine and sea salt. After the punch of smoke, peat, and salt, a rush of vanilla, butterscotch, and a little fudge take over.
