Nice amber colour. Nose: sweet, Demerara sugar, peaches. Palate: oak, honey; fruity when reduced. Body: medium. Finish: oak, dried fruit, butter. Overall: malt & honey.

Appearance is almost clear. Nose: salty, meaty, seaweed, leather, antique furniture, visit to a historic library. Palate: sweeter than expected, Demerara sugar, old wood. Body: oily, heavy. Finish: long, smooth, no bitterness. Delightful. Overall: rich & peaty.

Appearance is gorgeous gold. Nose: Christmas spices, rich, chocolate? vanilla, berries. Palate: spice, oaky malt, dried fruit. Body: thick. Finish: oak with barely any bitterness, warm, spicy, long. Yummy. Overall: rich & spicy.

Pretty near perfect scotch for my taste. Subtle smoke on the nose with a lot of bright, fresh fruit and vanilla. Palate much sweeter than expected without much peat on the tongue. Creamy, dried fruit, burnt sugar. Finish is long with a soft peat and freshness, floral or fruity I’m not sure.
