surprised this is 57%! such a great dram, even better with a little water. my go-to is Laphroaig but I would love to always have a bottle of this on the shelf too!

unusual nose reminded me a little of seaweed. the taste was impressive and I found some green tea flavor among the sweetness. finish was a little boring. but overall a nice example of Japanese whisky.

I usually dont like port cask finishes but this surprised me. definately lighter texture than their origional.

My go-to bourbon. I absolutly love the tart that people have described as sour cherry or raspberry. I am a huge fan. Believe it or not though, I prefer the lower ABV than the cask strength.

Almost get some Ardbeg flavor, but smoother. I hear this is scotch and Canadian whiskey aged in Japan. I wouldnt go back to it. Got this sample in Flavair kit.
