    Great flavor. Palate has a vanilla sweetness to it. Not as much of an alcohol burn as other whiskey’s I’ve tried but not as smooth as others in a similar price range. Finish was short for me. It hits your lips, tastes great, then it’s gone. Would prefer a longer finish. Overall, above average but only 3.5 rating due to the short finish.

    Not sure why I expected more from this. I see it everywhere, and I know it’s popular but tasting head to head with beefeater I found my palate preferred the beefeater. It was fine for me as a mixer in a G&T but again, I’d rather stock my cabinet with a gin that can be enjoyed on the rocks too. I’m not that experienced with gin though don’t just take my word for it. Gave it 2.5 stars because I expected more.

    Not a huge gin drinker. Mostly use for G&T. This seems to be the quintessential representation of a gin. It definitely made the best G&T I’ve had to date. As an experienced gin drinker, I tried a little “neat” and found it to be consistent with the flavor profile listed on this site. My palate found more herbal notes than fruit or spice however.

    Not a gin expert. Mainly use for G&T. This one seems pretty decent for the price. Seems to be less harsh than others I’ve tried but I do get a “stale” aftertaste with this one that I don’t get in others. Only had it a couple times so will update my review if it changes over time.

    Distinctly different on the palate. Very smooth and sweet (for vodka). Almost no burn and may be the first vodka that had a decent aftertaste. This would be my go to if I was drinking vodka neat.

    Bottom line: its good. It does have a more pleasant flavor than the “traditional” vodka I’m used to. Not really much burn and aftertaste is better than normal. This would be good for mixed drinks or shots.

    My go-to vodka. Best for mixing but also good for shots. Fairly smooth, minimal burn and minimal aftertaste. Not quite at the premium level but very close. Best quality for the cost.

  • Cooper's Mark Sugar House Maple

    I like flavored whisky and this one is my new favorite. The Maple is sweet but not overwhelming. It is slightly thicker than normal whisky (as expected). The finish is short but nice.

    Very average for my taste. I found it to be a bit sharp. Finish was long and left a taste of licorice. Overall I prefer other scotch.
