Fora non bourbon,an amazing whisky. The oat is strong forward with an unexpected sweetness that isn't unlike drinking an oatmeal cookie. I LOVE this whisky.

Smooth but light. Wheat notes high strong burn

I remember early bottles of Makers and find that it's just alright. I find the flavors are not as pronounced and seem to dissipate leaving no real complexity. It's become the trendy top shelf for those with less discerning palates and an "That's the best you have? Ok, I'll have that."

Crap well whisky.

Crap. Barely qualifies as whiskey. Would rather drink the collected booze from the bar mat than order this "whiskey". The fact that it's America's number 1 whisky says everything. Nothing there. No depth, all burn.

My go to whisky. More complex and flavorful than Makers and a bargain at half the price. Those in the know with a palate to back it up drink Evan.

Had a special blend of this for Vas Formost in Chicago. Aged and finished in port casks. Smooth and layered with a port finish.

For the price you can't get a smoother, layered whisky. Sweet, caramel ending that makes for a great Manhatten.

Was fortunate enough to get a bottle two years in a row. Great depth and complexity that one expects from a Scotch.
