If someone asked me to poor them what I thought was the most unique tasting whiskey I have ever had this would be the one. Witherspoon is a small distillery in Lewisville Texas started by an ex Marine. They make one run of regular bourbon and then do two special release bottles one finished in Port and one in Sherry. Imagine the darkest, richest, fruitiest and complex sherried scotch you can. Then add about 20% bourbon to that. Then use some magic to turn it all up some more on the richness scale. Well that would be this bottle. Just when you think whiskey has thrown you all that it can Witherspoon shows up and throws a curve ball. Lewisville should be very proud.69.99 USD per BottleTotal Wine & More

Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban 14 Year
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed July 27, 2019 (edited August 31, 2019)Glenmorangie changed up the age statement on the Quinta Ruban from 12 years to 14 years. so naturally I had to buy both and compare. The 12 year old was finished for 2 years in port barrels. So we all assume that the 14 year meant 4 years of finishing in port. Well after comparing the two I think it still is only 2 years of finishing in port. The color is a hint lighter than the 12 year. It seams to have lost a little bit of that redness that the 12 year had. The smell is lighter and the taste is lighter as well. As for the finish....well yep you guessed it. Now the finish is probably the closest similarity to the 12 year old which is a good thing. It really is only a hint lighter. So in conclusion the new 14 year old is still very good and still is full of flavors. I will be buying it again but I will also be buying up all the remaining 12 year olds as well.44.99 USD per Bottle -
Do you like breakfast food? Well you are in luck because apart from the traditional scotch flavors lies some rich well rounded sweet breakfast flavors. The smell will remind you of a maple covered waffle. Then you get a very balanced and well rounded traditional Spyside scotch flavor. As the flavors build up after each sip you will start to get a little bit of a coffee finish. Which is a nice touch to finish it off with. The 18 year old age statement and the flavor profile make this a great whisky to impress your friends with....or just for you to enjoy by yourself. Either way this is a must buy for any scotch lover.109.99 USD per BottleEuless

Azuñia Blanco Organic Tequila
Tequila Blanco — Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed June 24, 2019 (edited April 7, 2020)This tequila makes all other silver tequilas taste like tequila flavored vodka. It has a real natural flavor to it with a hint of smoke/wood note on the finish. Which is funny because it didn’t spend anytime in a barrel. If you like tequila this should be the lowest you go for it.27.99 USD per BottleEuless -
Glenfarclas is a good brand to sample and see what the same whisky tastes like over a span of being aged 12-25 years. Their bottles are relatively cheap and easy to find. The 12 is a solid single malt that any scotch fan will enjoy. It doesn’t have anything big that stands out but it doesn’t have anything bad either. As you try the Glenfarclas range of bottles you will find the biggest change is the wood smoke increases a little bit each time. From the 12,15,17,21 and 25 year olds. This is a great one to keep at home that won’t break the bank.44.99 USD per Bottle

Clase Azul Tequila Reposado
Tequila Reposado — Los Altos, Jalisco, Mexico
Reviewed January 24, 2019 (edited September 3, 2019)This is a tricky bottle to judge. It easily has the prettiest looking bottle in the tequila industry maybe even the liquor industry as a whole. The tequila inside has a wonderful inviting smell. Those traditional tequila flavors with a hit of barrel note. This is easily one of the smoothest tequilas out there. At the end of the day this one leaves you wishing it had more to offer. The bottle leads you to believe that there is magic inside but really it is just a nice smooth simple resposado. As I have gotten along down the road in my tequila journey I find myself slowly forgetting about this one.80.0 USD per Bottle -
I once drove a Ferrari in the hills above where the cars are made. It was a generation old car but I still thought that it was worlds different than the current best that the US could come up with. It was a tremendous experience. If I could pick a whisky to convert a bourbon drinker this would be it. Like the Ferrari I feel like the whisky from across the pond is just that much better in every way. Like comparing a Ferrari to a Corvette, not that the Corvette is bad but after driving both I will pick the scotch every time, I mean Ferrari.60.0 USD per Bottle

Highland Park 15 Year
Single Malt — Islands, Scotland
Reviewed December 26, 2018 (edited February 11, 2020)This was one of my first bottle I ever bought. I really liked it and then they discontinued it before I could find another bottle. Well a year later I have found another bottle, well actually several bottles hiding in a small shop that will remain nameless. This is an amazing whisky. If you can still find a bottle buy as many as you can. It has more peat and way more sherry than the 12 year old. On the front end you get very rich sherry then on the finish you get a nice tobacco smoke. It is a shame Highland Park does not make it anymore. I think this is the best they have ever made. If I lived on the island of Orkney I would protest outside the distillery until they brought it back.77.0 USD per Bottle
