Elijah Craig Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch B521
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 6, 2021 (edited January 19, 2022)Nose: tons and tons of fruit. Caramel. Rich cherries Palate: good bite for the proof, great dark fruit flavor. Juicy fruit gum. Finish: long and sweet Overall: dang man. This batch is good. I might need a couple of these -
Nose: peaty and sweet. Very light nose Palate: spice initially. A little bit of smoke but not really that much. Finish: medium/short and sweet. The smoke wears off pretty quick. Overall: for being a peated scotch I’m impressed. I know it’s a special release and not made to be super peaty but the hint of smoke is very nice.

GlenDronach Revival 15 Year (2009-2015)
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed December 5, 2021 (edited May 6, 2022)Nose: lots of bitter wine on the nose. Palate: bitter note still there and grainy of course. Buttery too Finish: typical grain and the bitter note goes away. Overall: not bad. The bitter note kinda hits me in a weird way though. For 15 years not amazing -
Bardstown Bourbon Co. Discovery Series #5
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 1, 2021 (edited December 2, 2021)Post virus take: Nose: spice and cinnamon. Palate: lots of rye spice up front. 104 proof but it drinks like 80 proof which is very impressive. Finish: medium length. Rye spice at the end as well for me Overall: my profile might be off due to just getting over being sick. Still, this bourbon is good. Right on par with other good ones I think. -
Nose: smells like sugar. Or maybe a sweet tea vodka mix. Either way it makes me think of diabetes Palate: tons and tons and tons of butterscotch. A little thin but I can also tell there’s a little oak. Some spice to it Finish: long spicy and sweet. Overall: best rum I’ve ever had neat that’s for sure. I can say I’m definitely not a rum guy but it’s not bad truthfully. I have to give a 4 because it’s the best rum I’ve had, but I still don’t think it’s incredible.80.0 USD per Bottle

Garrison Brothers Single Barrel Bourbon, Barrel Proof
Bourbon — Texas, USA, USA
Reviewed September 21, 2021 (edited April 30, 2022)Nose: heavy caramel. Very sweet too. Rich syrupy Palate: lots and lots of cinnamon. Not super sweet. Rich in flavor but almost like a rye, except you get corn. You can tell how young it is. Finish: spicy finish and hot. Overall: young and high proof. Could be better if aged I think. I love the color though, Super super dark (due to Texas). 123.2 proof and 3 years old at $150. It was a gift to me but honestly I wouldn’t pay a dime over $30 for this. It’s just way too young and no depth. Rating this on price btw150.0 USD per Bottle -

Second sip more cinnamon but little to no burn. Finish: short with a little spice Overall: for $20 heck yea I’m in there. Good average starter bourbon25.0 USD per Bottle -
Stellum Bourbon
Bourbon — (bottled in) Kentucky, USA
Reviewed August 18, 2021 (edited October 10, 2021)Nose: lots of spice. I smell cinnamon rolls. That’s gotta be a good sign! Palate: really spicy. Like really really spicy. Clearly a bourbon, as it’s sweeter, but wow is it spicy. Has some kind of funk also, super interesting. Finish: bananas for a little while. Medium length Overall: well I’m not a huge fan of spicy and this one is overly spicy in my opinion. Not the biggest fan, cool bottle though. Wouldn’t buy again45.0 USD per Bottle
