Tastes

Nose is a mix of herbal and wine. Very smooth, light menthol or almost peppermint notes with some spice. The finish hangs on for a bit in a good way.

If I could give this a 4.1 as an in between, I would. Would have liked the proof a slight bit higher at this price point. Initially on the nose and taste it is like a finished whiskey in port barrels or something along those lines. After letting it sit though I get a smooth undertone of the typical beam nutty flavor. Finish is very pleasant and is fairly long. Overall, I hear the criticism that for the price point it may not be worth the extra money over the 9 year single barrel.

This is good, but 2020-01 was incredible. This the typical roasted nut flavor but nowhere near as much as batch 1. Always delicious though.

I like it. Kind floral on the nose. Oak and maybe toasted almond flavor. Decent finish. This is an easy drinker.

Very good. Not as spicy as I had expected. Big on fruit, peach and apple on the nose. Lots of orange zest on the finish.

Very happy with this. Not overly unique on the nose. Big spice and fruit on taste, good mouthfeel and long finish.

Very good. The nose is heavy caramel and I am getting carmel, vanilla and oak on taste. Great for Halloween.

This is only my second tasting of Bookers. My first was the country ham release , which was amazing. This is different and had a core complex peanut and peanut brittle flavor. Delicious!

Very smooth, a bit sweet, but overall excellent.
