Tastes

The nose is very sweet, and heavily like fresh baked banana bread. As far as taste and mouthfeel, it is very easy to drink. Lots of butterscotch and toffee, a bit of the barrel coming through as well. Overall, very good!

This has some spice and I definitely get orange zest as well.

For me, cinnamon, vanilla and orange zest. Pretty good! Mouthfeel and finish are nice.

Heavy punch up front with the alcohol, but not a bad thing. Very dry and definitely get barrel/wood, maybe some brown sugar too. Not getting some of the citrus or orange I’ve seen others comment on. The finish is nice.

The nose is crazy, and smells like a fresh baked cinnamon bun. Mostly brown sugar and vanilla. Taste, I get dry, barrel a bit of brown sugar in the finish or almost like the old Boston baked beans candy. Overall, very good.

This is an easy drinker. A bit sweet and less proof than what I normally have. Light brown sugar on the nose. It doesn’t have anything unpleasant about the taste, I’m just not getting any specific notes standing out. Finish is very short.

The nose is sweet, not sure how else to describe, maybe a light fruit hint too like strawberry with vanilla. For taste, a total vanilla, butterscotch and caramel bomb. Almost a delicate mouthfeel, with a nice finish. Very enjoyable.

This my first little book. Definitely a different thing than regular Bookers. I saw a few other reviews mention fresh cut grass on the nose, I get that, along with a molasses hint. The taste is definitely complex, brown sugar, some caramel, something I can’t quite place also, maybe along the lines of a small hint of lemongrass. Mouthfeel is great and the finish goes on and on.

Very solid, though I think I still prefer the 1920 more. On the nose I’m getting banana candy and vanilla, very sweet smelling. On taste, I’m still getting banana flavor, but more like banana runts (in a good way). I also get marshmallow, and vanilla. Mild heat and relatively short but pleasant finish.
