Easy drinker. Not too much spice. Nothing extraordinary, but a good solid whiskey. Got to meet and have my bottle signed by Stephen Beam, so that have influenced.

Barrel No. 2681. Bottle 15. Filled 10/8/06. 10 yr. 108.9 Proof. Purchased in Colorado.

$43 @ HB Liqour, CO Definitely HOT! Not quite sure if it's one I'll buy again.

Purchased for $48 at a Rare Whiskey Release lottery at a local store in Colorado. Excited to pop it open and review.

Picked this up in an effort to aquire the tast for Islay. Nose - Smoke and leather. Taste - Punch in the face of smoke. Surprising lack of ethanol bite. Finish - Smoky with hints of oak and peat. It didn't leave me with the lasting residual smoke mouth that other big name Islays have. This is good.

2017-11-01 Heritage Wine & Liquor - $22

Bought last week for $80. They said it was on sale from $150. Haven't opened it yet. I'm always suspicious when there is a big discount like this. Is it not selling well?

Excellent blended scotch for the $$.

I'm going to a tasting of this on Nov. 11 at the distillery. Can't wait to try it.
