Nose: subtle, ethanol,toffee Taste: super nice deep caramel & pear to start, then the heats punches in. , finishes with mellow oaky sweet sugar cookie Ice : mellows out the heat punch, great smooth flavors that transition well

Nose: subtle, have to really give it a whirl to pick it up, but nice caramel apple, banana, & rum notes. Taste: great balance of oak & vanilla on this one, with another fruity flavor maybe a bit of apricot. Midway thru the heat kicks in with some peppery rye flavors. Heat then fades away, leaving almost a mint aftertaste . Proof is pretty nice as a neat sipper on this, easily could go with or with out some ice/water. With an ice cube: tempers down the heat and spice a lot, bigger caramel & pear flavor on the taste. Mellower overall, also really likable. Solid pour!

Good nose to start, caramel/vanilla and has promise. However, so much oak on both the initial taste and the finish that its just unpleasant. The burn is hot with this one, a little water/ice helped, but still cant cut thru the wood flavors and bitterness that comes with. I pass.

Carmel and pear on the nose - my favorite part of this one. First taste is also nice. A little burn, maybe a bit chemical midway thru, takes a bit to go away but ok finish once that drifts off. Heavy on the wood, and the rye spice does come thru nicely

Good vanilla oak start, but then just gets hot and a bit chemical. Medium finish- expected something more dense from a 6yr barrel proof

Peanuty, some spice, somewhat thin. Good finish that lingers with vanilla. Expected better from this one, but realize i got overcharged. Reminds me of jts brown at 2-3x the price. If you like this, def try the jts. Peanutty not my thing.

Nice balance of spice, sweet, and heat. Great need or with a little ice, fantastic sipper. Maybe a little fruit / pear flavor. Great, long, consistent finish. My only wish is a cork cap at this pricepoint… the plastic screwtop feels cheap
