Tastes

An unassuming rye. It’s definitely not a top goal scorer, the boozy nose leads me to believe that this whiskey could hardly tie up it’s own skates. On second nosing, I get burnt cotton candy, and vanilla. In the mouth, The sweetness quickly fades and is replaced with and a mild chilli heat that hits moderately and slowly fades. What it lacks in complexity, it makes up for in wearing the number 99. Overpriced.

Very sweet nose with rich caramel. Herbal. Rich taste, palette develops from sweet, a little spicy, and then ash. Clean finish. Very nice!

Sweet nose, floral notes. Plum and fruit on the palette. Little bit of spice , but not much heat. Not the most pleasing mouth feel, but it’s fine.

Sharp nose with hints of brown sugar. Sweet and rich vanilla palette, spicy. Long and simple finish

Caramel nose, sweet and vanilla palette followed by a musty/hay finish. Delightful, but over priced.

Sweet vanilla nose. Smooth mouth feel. Quick finish with nothing left to the imagination.

Sweet Vanilla on the nose, sweetness carries through the palette with a bit of spice that does not hang around for long. Not much on the finish.

Sweet on the nose, but quickly attacks the palette with spice that lingers through the finish. Notes of brown sugar play with the heat to create a complex sweet and spicy dance in my mouth. A few drops of water tempers the inferno, and brings out a subtle ash to the palette.
