Produced at the Still Waters distillery in Ontario, Stalk & Barrel Rye is made with 100% Canadian Rye grain. They are Ontario’s first grain-to-glass distillery in over a century establishing their own tradition of single cask and single grain releases.
It’s mashed, fermented and distilled by hand in small batches then aged in ex-bourbon barrels for a minimum of 3 years. Note: This is currently only available in Canada.

RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"This rye is so earthy and alive that NASA may land a probe in your glass thinking they’ve discovered life on another planet. The nose is fragrant like a fall drive through the country with spicy grasses, hay and floral rye. The heat spikes in the finish leaving the mouth tingling. The whole time a juicy freshness counterbalances the spice with a touch of brown sugar and some wood after the bonfire burns down."
