Barrel: BDA133 On the smell, I just get a bunch of alcohol and a bit of biscuit. With the taste, I get a lot of alcohol with the burn at the end. A slight peppery and biscuity flavor. Alittle bit of water and it opens up slight with more of the caramel and vanilla flavors but still a lot of alcohol heatSecaucus

On the nose I get cinnamon, caramel, vanilla, sugar, and jasmine. A good balanced whiskey between the floral notes, sweetness and alcohol burn. A good bit of the sweetness comes from a coat of caramel, vanilla and sugar. The sweetness blends well with a floral notes and then finishes with a bit of the alcohol burn with the return of some slight sweetness notes. I thoroughly enjoy this bourbon and tastes great in old fashions!Silk City Distillers

Jefferson's Reserve Pritchard Hill Cabernet Cask Finish
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 21, 2021 (edited May 6, 2021)Cherries, vanilla, hint of cinnamon, and a light oak to finish. Almost buttery but very silky smooth. Minimal alcohol burn. Very rich but nicely balanced. A slight bit of honey sweetness but blended well with the red fruits from the wine cask. I am a big fan of this and love this blend of wine and bourbon.USA WINE TRADERS CLUB - Discount Wine, Beer & Liquor -
