Barrel: BDA133 On the smell, I just get a bunch of alcohol and a bit of biscuit. With the taste, I get a lot of alcohol with the burn at the end. A slight peppery and biscuity flavor. Alittle bit of water and it opens up slight with more of the caramel and vanilla flavors but still a lot of alcohol heat

On the nose I get cinnamon, caramel, vanilla, sugar, and jasmine. A good balanced whiskey between the floral notes, sweetness and alcohol burn. A good bit of the sweetness comes from a coat of caramel, vanilla and sugar. The sweetness blends well with a floral notes and then finishes with a bit of the alcohol burn with the return of some slight sweetness notes. I thoroughly enjoy this bourbon and tastes great in old fashions!

Sweet pear and floral upfront with a slight bit of heat. With a mild almost malty mid taste but it lasts slightly before a sherry and oak barrel notes with a slight char to it. Has a bit of plum on the back end as well

A smooth, caramel, floral, and slight smoke throughout the taste. Get a slight heat and almost peppery after taste. The end palate gives you almost a fruity and sweet note to it which simmers the alcohol burn

A little sweet, floral, and rich flavors. A nice little bit of vanilla and caramel characteristics plus a smooth creamy nature at the end from the stout barrels

A nice sweetness and bit of alcohol burn. A bit of floral and a bit of caramel and vanilla at the end. A slight citrus throughout. Smooth and very enjoyable

Cherries, vanilla, hint of cinnamon, and a light oak to finish. Almost buttery but very silky smooth. Minimal alcohol burn. Very rich but nicely balanced. A slight bit of honey sweetness but blended well with the red fruits from the wine cask. I am a big fan of this and love this blend of wine and bourbon.

Alcohol heat, with vanilla and cinnamon dominate this palate for me. Some honey sweetness that comes through in a full bodied and rich whiskey. Very interesting that it was distilled a different way but still tastes good to me!

Vanilla and brown sugar notes, with some spiced notes. A bit of alcohol heat but sweetness from the bourbon and sugars. A good smoothness from the port barrels

Huge smoky palate. But big notes of burnt sugar, vanilla, and caramel. Delicious and not expected from a peaty scotch
