Tastes

Spicy with slightly sweet undertones of dark berries and cinnamon. Tingles the tongue with a moderate warmth at the back of the throat.

Nose is spicy and sweet. Initially a Spicy wheated mouthfeel which smooth over the next few sips giving way to hints of cherry, cinnamon and vanilla. This is one of my favorites for the price. It sometimes a little hard to find so if you see it pick it up.

Smooth but not real exciting. Flavors of oak, vanilla and white pepper. The flavor stays consistent throughout.

A spicy rye nose with hints of dark fruit. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy as the dark fruit lingers on the tongue. This is a unique flavor that is one of my favorite sippers.

An oakey nose with a youthful rye mouthfeel. The taste is spicy and oakey. white pepper coats the mouth but appears as an remaining note. There is a subtle sweetness with each sip but the peppery rye is the dominant influence

Lots of caramel brown sugar. Nose is initially light, clean and a little sweet. Taste gets richer with each sip and gives way to a slightly toasted or caramelized quality. This is a very nice sipper.

A smooth and easy sipper. Nose is light in spice with subtle hints of banana, brown sugar. For $20 you can’t go wrong. This is one of my favorite pours (neat) when I’m looking to be thrifty but don’t want to skimp on taste.
