Old Rip Van Winkle 10 Year Bourbon (107 Proof)

Reviewed February 23, 2022 (edited March 16, 2022)Brown sugar, fruits and a faint spice. First time having any of the Van Winkle line and was disappointed. Good, but not great. Maybe expectations were too high based on hype. -

High West Double Rye

Reviewed August 25, 2021 (edited October 13, 2021)Baking spices and hints of mint on the nose move to notes of cinnamon, fresh leather and pepper. It has the sharp rye taste you expect but quickly fades to a smooth peppery burn. -

Reviewed August 17, 2021 (edited August 11, 2022)Young and peaty with a sharp alcohol taste. Reminds me of port Charlotte 10 that hasn’t finished aging. For the price I would spend the extra money for an older bottle. -
