Larceny’s nose and palate are not offensive, but nothing to write home about. Caramel and bananas come to mind. The palate is nutty, however somewhat bitter. There is some nice spice on the finish, however I find it to be a bit short, possibly a reflection of the lower proof. If you are a fan of wheaters, this may be a good bourbon to jump on. At $23, there are very few other options that are as nice as this for the price point.22.99 USD per Bottle

Jim Beam Black Label Extra-Aged
Bourbon — Kentucky , USA
Reviewed April 26, 2020 (edited May 12, 2020)Typical ‘bourbon’ nose with caramel and vanilla sweetness. The palate continues with a very light sweetness with notes of oak and peanuts. The finish is quite short and somewhat forgettable. Jim Beam Black Label Extra-Aged is a decent bourbon for the price tag, but it’s lack of complexity and watered down lightness hurts this pour.23.49 USD per Bottle -
Sweet nose with vanilla and brown sugar blasting out of my Norlan glass. Absolutely explodes on the tongue with the first sip. Tons of cinnamon and baking spice on the palate that continues to the finish. Incredibly long finish that continues to a nice hug. Hard to beat this one at 122 proof and under $60.59.99 USD per Bottle

Booker's Bourbon Batch 2016-05 "Off Your Rocker"
Bourbon — Kentucky , USA
Reviewed April 25, 2020 (edited April 26, 2020)My goodness, I love Booker’s! Nose with vanilla and caramel with very little ethanol. So good. Palate is very smooth, with a finish that is so spicy and long. You get a Kentucky hug that goes on and on. Such a good bourbon. For approximately $85, how can you go wrong?83.0 USD per Bottle -
This is a really nice smelling bourbon; fruity with notes of apricot & caramel. Palate smooth and woody, improving with every sip. Spicy on the back of the tongue, drinking bigger than its proof, but not too hot- easy to handle. Short to medium finish with very little burn. This bourbon tastes a bit young, but it’s a pleasant, easy to drink whiskey that would be a great starter for those just getting into the bourbon world.49.99 USD per Bottle

Vanilla and ethanol with hints of apple on the nose. Palate with some spice with a definite bite, however not hot. Not smooth either. Bitter tannins round out a fairly short finish that I think is somewhat off putting. I find this one of the weaker expressions coming out of the Turkey distillery.33.99 USD per Bottle

1792 Full Proof Straight Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed April 20, 2020 (edited May 6, 2020)Cherries and banana with vanilla on the nose. Sweet spice blasts the mid-tongue with tons of cinnamon notes. Long, warm finish. 1792 Full Proof is an excellent bourbon at 126 proof and well worth the sub $60 price tag. Get this!59.99 USD per Bottle -
Nose with butterscotch & vanilla as well as some ethanol that permeate from my glencairn glass. The palate is nice with oak and leather flavors that mingle with the classic caramel. More heat than one would expect in a 94 proof whiskey, but smooth enough for a beginner. Medium finish with a warmth that’s felt all the way down. Although it scores a bit lower as it can’t be confused with WLW or even a Booker’s release, this is a really good pour for the price point.30.99 USD per Bottle
