Sweet butterscotch & vanilla bomb on the nose. Beautiful spice and cinnamon on the palate that carries over to a long, tingly finish. With that said, there isn’t too much of a burn or Kentucky hug. Finish remains primarily in the mouth and on the tongue. Surprisingly smooth considering the substantial 124.7 proof. Notes of oak on the backend. Definitely one of my favorite bourbons.

Typical bourbon notes of cherry & vanilla on the nose. Somewhat medicinal? Palate with lots of cinnamon, hitting much harder than the proof suggests. Long, nice finish. Very good bourbon.

Ethanol & slightly briny nose. Palate with some spice & salty caramel. I find the finish to be quite bitter with tannins and not all that smooth. Short to medium finish. Although not horrible, I’m not a huge fan considering the price point.

Cherries & vanilla on the nose with hints of oak. Some ethanol comes through my Norlan glass. Palate with high spice & cinnamon, however not too hot. Fairly smooth. Decently long finish with a pleasant Kentucky hug.
