    I love the bottles that K&S use. This 12yr old has a great aroma and color. The initial taste is very flavorful with hints of vanilla and caramel. There is a mild, harsh bite at the end that’s not evident in its older, 23yr old cousin. Not a bad rum and the price is right but I definitely prefer the 23.

    I’m venturing into the tequila world and this is my first tasting post from that group. This is a very smooth tequila with a short bitter, typical tequila taste. Very nice over ice with a squeeze of lime.

    Aroma is light just like its coloring. Smooth taste but has a distinct peat-like taste. Not bad as a supper but there are better options out there.

    Obviously not quite as smooth as the 21 year but still a good whiskey. Color is a nice amber with a floral aroma. Initial taste is smooth. Has a long, lingering soft burn which distinguishes it from the 21. Worth having in your cabinet.

    This is an outstandingly good Irish. Unusual aroma out of the bottle but extremely smooth and flavorful with no hint of aftertaste. I’m a rum drinker but this might make me switch.

    Ventured back to whiskeys this weekend and tried a shit of this and it was very good. Great flavor with an incredibly smooth finish. Low peat which is great for my pallet. Definitely worth the buy.

    Great color and aroma. Initial taste is sweet and that carries over. Good mix of flavors but the sweetness doesn’t allow them to fully develop. Not a bad rum but not my favorite.

    Nice bottle with a dark amber content. Uncorked, you get strong smells of caramel and the first taste doesn’t disappoint. Flavors are very sweet with caramel and vanilla undertones. The sip goes down smooth with very little bite of alcohol. I would have rated this higher but the initial sweetness was a little too harsh for me.

    It was hard to get past the heavy alcohol taste to get the flavors. If they smoothed out that bite then the flavors would shine. Definitely not a sipping rum, even with ice, but a fair mixer.
