Third tase, this time with a small handful of ice cubes. Still a lot of spice, with a bit more sweet due to dilution and temperature. Can’t wait to try it in an Old Fashioned or a Black Manhattan.

Fall 2014 distilled date. First taste and nose is spicy, after a few minutes, subsequent tastes bring loads of stone fruit. Wonderfully mouth coating, and warm all the way down. Very good 90 second finish with spicy warmth and some vanilla sweet.

Bottle has had a chance to oxidize a bit. Almost too easy to drink. Lots of oak, lots of fruit, and a very creamy finish. Much better than Old Forester 86, but not sure if it’s worth the 2x price over OF86.
    38.0 USD per Bottle

Dark rich flavors, like its color. Stands up to ice very well. Must try in an old fashioned or black Manhattan

Punches way above its weight. I wish more bars had this as their rail whiskey

Like a BBQ in a glass. So far from peat while still being a smokeshow. Dark as mahogany in the glass

Funk, spice, and banana cream. Quite drinkable neat and nice with a little water. Skip the ice for this one.

Medium long finish, lots of fruit, medium sweet. Some wood sugars. Pleasant on the whole. Crazy heavy bottle.
