High West A Midwinter Night's Dram
Rye — (bottled in) Utah, USA
Reviewed November 27, 2020 (edited November 26, 2021)This is one of my favorite things I’ve tasted this year. The finish gives it great complexity. If you look for it, you can definitely pick out the rye notes. But then as the finish progresses, it’s overtaken by dark dried fruits. Very nice.100.0 USD per Bottle -
Old Elk Straight Wheated Bourbon
Bourbon — Colorado , USA
Reviewed November 27, 2020 (edited April 11, 2021)Not a very complex wheated bourbon. Definitely drinkable, but would not buy it for over $50 (which is going to be out of price range most places). -
Elijah Craig Barrel Proof Bourbon Batch C920
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed October 6, 2020 (edited October 21, 2020)Very smooth for such a high proof. Vanilla finish that lingers. -
New Riff Kentucky Straight Bourbon Bottled In Bond

Reviewed September 20, 2020Very unique. Strong licorice (which I like). And some caramel as well. Have not had any bourbon like this, but it’s welcomed. -
