Tastes

Lower proof than i usually prefer, but surprisingly delicious.

On first taste it was extremely astringent and not nearly as complex as I would expect from a rum aged whiskey. The high alcohol flavor relative to the actual alcohol content was surprising. I prefer big proof whiskeys for their complex flavors and felt let down by this offering. I will taste again and revise my notes at a later date.
