Bardstown Bourbon Co. Destillaré Orange Curaçao Finish
Bourbon — Tennessee (bottled in Kentucky), USA
Reviewed May 1, 2026Got this one as a Christmas present from my wife in 2020, after I got into bourbon a few years earlier. Tried to make this one last as it is so unique. Smells like orange cream soda. Taste like a old fashioned just the right amount of orange flavor. If Bardstown does this one again I would definitely get again. -
Finally killed this bottle. Need to start doing reviews earlier in bottles. This one was good, just not one that made me want to get a pour very often. Glad I tried it though. This bottle was Batch 126 for reference. Sweet with slight fruit on the palate and a little spice. Smooth easy drinker not very complex.

Booker's Bourbon Batch 2021-03 "Bardstown Batch"
Bourbon — Kentucky , USA
Reviewed February 14, 2026Finishing two Bean products tonight. Bookers is one of my favorites. This one just a tad bit hot. Really like it, just not one of my favorite batches. Some fruit but a lot more spice. -
George Dickel 13 Year Bottled in Bond Tennessee Whisky (Spring 2007)
Tennessee Whiskey — Tennessee, USA
Reviewed August 30, 2025Have had this one open for a very long time now and its almost gone. I always look past this one in my collection and when I pour it I say this one is very good. Price point for a 13BIB is a great value, don’t let that take away on how good this one is. Fruity and sweet with some nice leather on the finish. -
Its has been a very long time for me between reviews. I need to start doing some again and not be lazy. This bottle motivated me. Just killed this bottle today, got about 2 yrs ago on an OHLQ drop. Really nice 7 yr MGP juice. Barrel 37446, nice lower proof of 44.9% with lots of flavor vanilla, carmel, fruity and a little sweet. So smooth and an easy drinker.

Booker's Bourbon Batch 2021-02 "Tagalong Batch"
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed February 14, 2025 (edited January 27, 2026)Have not done a review in a very long time (just over two yrs., wow time flies). Have killed many bottles and should have reviewed more. This one was one of the first Bookers I bought when I got into bourbon not that long ago. Of the three I have open I like this one the best. The Distiller review is pretty accurate on this one. This one has a nice crisp apple and fruit flavor with some oak and cinnamon, some sweetness too. Very flavorful and have enjoyed this one every time I drank it. Hoping all the Bookers I have stockpiled since this one live up to or exceed this one. -
Nice to see a New Riff product at 6 yrs. Have not had a lot of their offerings, however so far this one is my favorite. This one is so drinkable and cruising through this bottle. Next time this comes around I need to grab another one. Drinks more like a Bourbon than a Rye. Sweet, vanilla, orange zest and some chocolate with a little spice .
