For 117 proof this is very smooth. Big notes of vanilla, caramel and oak. The Palate is rich and buttery. Finish lingers with a little heat, but nothing overpowering. Very nice pour.

This may be one of the best kept secrets in all of bourbondom. You'd be hard pressed to find a better high proof low cost dram. If you see it, grab it, especially since Beam is rumored to be discontinuing it.

This juice is outstanding. The nose is an excellent and complex bouquet of flavors. The palate is much the same, albeit a tad thin and the finish is great. This is outstanding. I cannot believe the score for this Dram is so much lower than that turd Woodford Rye.....someone getting their back scratched???
