Tastes

Standard vanilla and caramel, a smooth neat sipper. Not special, but nice

Smells a little...off, like a musty basement but not as nice. Tastes musty as well, with some vanilla on the finish. A bit hotter than the proof.

Dangerously smooth and drinkable. Love the touch of oak/barrel at the end.

Very dark color, smells young, but lots of barrel char on the palette. Drinks below the proof. Overall, unique and enjoyable.

Neat in a glencairn. Neck pour. Nose of rye bread, caraway seed, and faint dill. Taste of rye bread, very faint pepper.

Neat, glencairn. Could nose this all day, but tongue-numbingly hot on the palate. Long spicy finish

Neat in a rocks glass. Leaves huge legs after a few swirls. Not much to the nose, but so much nuttiness on the palate! I can hardly sense the proof, which is dangerous since I keep going back for another sip. Relatively short finish, but overall I really like it.
