Tastes

Fruity aroma, with undertones of maple syrup. Smooth, with very little burn. Notes of cinnamon, honey. Delicious, light, and tingly.

Nose of fruit and sweet smoke. Rich caramel sweetness. Good heat and spice. Slight note of brulee char. Smooth and not overly thick. A winner.

Hot, which is surprising, with the relatively low proof. Definite citrus notes on the early tastes, then open up to a nutty, oaky flavor, and then cinnamon dominates the flavor as it dissapates, leaving long lingering spiciness.

Tangy aroma. Medicinal flavor with citrus notes, narrowing to a very light caramel, high heat. Lingering burn.

Tastes of leather, light woodsmoke. Ultra smooth taste, very low burn. The Rye really comes on in the aftertaste. Absolutely delicious.

First sip is sweet, as you'd expect from a wheated Bourbon, which quickly evaporates. Kind of a light earthy taste as you swallow. Very little burn, but the heat lingers. This won't win any tasting contests, but for the price point, it's an everyday value.

I'm really surprised that I liked this after seeing the other reviews. Starts with caramel and corn, but a little thin. Corn coats your mouth, then turns hot cinnamon. Long lasting heat, but again very thin flavor.

Almost medicinal at first, mellows to mild sweetness. Great color, lots of spice on the tongue.

So smooth. Slightly sweet, oaky undertones, packs a punch above its weight. A great everyday value.
