Reviewed February 22, 2021 (edited May 10, 2021)OK, I like this. At this price point you get 1 L at an ABV of 43 %. That’s very good! Nose: a good deal of caramel, biscuit and vanilla. It’s slightly too much alcohol, but just a little water reins it in nicely. Taste: again, vanilla and caramel. There’s a slight spice. A nice long finish.52.0 EUR per Bottle -
For the price, it is very good! I like it – a lot. One of those that I’ll make sure to get a new bottle of as soon as I empty the one I have, probably doing so until I die. The nose is sweet toffee, a little floral and a touch of smoke. Somewhat strong on the nose if you don’t put in water. The taste is caramel for days on end but is nicely balanced and complex. The ABV is generous and allows for a hard kick and good finish. Really nice whisky this one!45.0 EUR per Bottle

Very perfume-heavy sweet nose. The alcohol smell is strong but mellows a lot from being left in the glass for a while. Tastes sweet and nonintrusive initially followed by a hard spicy back burner in the back of the throat. It is dominated by floral perfumy sweetness also in the taste. I do like it, but it is a strange marriage of worlds... probably won’t buy again.34.0 EUR per Bottle

[note: several years open bottle] At 46% it’s quite bitey and benefits form water. Dry winery grapes. Subtle ashy smoke which I don’t think I really care for and which lingers long on the taste. Not my favourite. Added 0,5 pts as a suspect the bottle may have gone off a bit during its neglect on the shelf.
