Tasted next to midwinter nights dram act 7 Scene 2 Nose: sprightly, sweet mint, sweet cinnamon, and rich sweet floral notes. Reminds me of a spring flower garden in full bloom. Palate: follows the nose exactly, but finishes with a nicely dry oak

Tasted next to high west double rye Nose:dark, musty unfinished wood, a bit of a cognac like oak character (Boise-like?), what I'd imagine a rickhouse would smell like. Cocoa powder. Buried deep in the nose is a dark fruit richness like the flesh of a sweet plum. After a sip of double rye, the fruit becomes dominant than fades to a still fruity wood, than to spice. After asip of mwnd, goes back to the oak, cocoa nose. Palate: a rich, creamy dark fruit that develops into baking spices, vanilla then cookie dough. Finishes with a lingering dry spicyness and oak

Nose: hint of smoke, fruit, slightly tart like the skin of a plum, sweet malt Taste:malt, honeyed fruits, slight wood smoke Finish: medium length, creamy, oak present but not tannicly bitter

Cask# 288 Abv: 41.9% Actually a kome honkaku shochu aged in oak, so the abv is likely near the actual cask strength Nose:vanilla, oak, sweet Palate: eggnog,sweet creamy vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove Finish:eggnog continues for a bit, then lingering vanilla and oak dryness
