Very piney, almost hoppy, like an ipa in whisky form, traces of tobacco and dried fruit, heavy peat.

Certainly a staple speyside, lots of honey, apricot, and cinnamon notes with a bit of wheatiness.

Lots of cream and vanilla with a hint of apricot. It certainly lacks complexity but does not lack flavour.

Lots of citrus and cinnamon on the nose. Grapefruit notes, baking spice, a hint of starfruit. Kind of a bitter finish. Much more acidic than most scotch, probably a good way for bourbon drinkers to approach scotch.

You can definitely taste the cacao instantly! On the nose is sherry, floral notes, almost a hint of moss, ripe apple, and definitely the cacao. On the palate it cream, honey, and cacao, definitely sweet but not fruity. The finish lingers, there’s certainly an oily quality to it.

Toasted nuts, dried apricots, oakier and smoother than other Glenfiddich. Almost a floral aroma with hints of honey

Probably the only thing I’ll ever give 5 stars to. Beautiful sea air aroma with dates, raisins, a hint of seaweed and briny air, it’s non peated but there’s almost a touch of smoke. Incredibly rich and full flavored. Truly nothing like it.
