Tastes

Smells great. Sweet, light, slight oak. Light taste, smooth with a slight after burn. Little spicy. Hmm interesting taste. There is something that numbs the flavors a little and maybe its the brandy, not a bad thing. Interesting, better than a ton of bottles out there but just not crazy for it.

Caramel and sweet smell. No bite in the smell, definitely smelling that maple flavor. Man that maple takes out any bite. Honestly I love it. I prefer a sweeter taste and the maple ensures it. It isnt as dessert-esque as advertised. Still tastes like a bourbon to me. Just not hitting all notes of a typical bourbon. Widow Jane is just a good brand.

Light smell but with some spice and sweetness. Oaky with slight sweetness and some spice. After it sits for a minute the profile changes a little. Pretty well balanced. A few different flavors. Not bad.

Very pedestrian smell. Light smell, slight sweetness. Super light taste. Extremely mellow. No aftertaste which is respectable. Little maple and sweet but not very much.

Not much for smell. A slight spice in the smell at the end. Ok, woof. No profile to speak of. Very bland. Pretty bad.

A dull sweet smell. Already smells like something is slightly off. Hmm first taste is surprisingly good. Oaky. Not very oily. Light sweetness with a slight aftertaste that you wish was slightly more refined, just spicier than I’d like. Its decent.

Sweet smell, a little apple. Tails off to a slight alcohol smell towards the end. Smooth. Real smooth. Definitely has the rye spiciness both something else. Some earthy tastes, probably the american oak. Honestly this is fantastic. Another great taste from Widow Jane. I’m a fan.

Sweet spice smell. Can definitely smell the vanilla. Spicy taste with an aftertaste. Not very refined profile. Not tasting the vanilla like i hoped. Its just ok.

Light smell. Cherry, sweetness, makes you want to just taste it. First taste, earthy, oily, light sweetness and cherry. No bite. Intriguing taste. Very unique. Refined profile, hitting different notes. Definitely worth more than the price tag. Really impressed to not feel a bite. I prefer sweeter whiskeys, but amazing sipping whiskey.

Lightish, sweet slight cherry smell. Not a harsh smell. Oily and oaky, slight sweet with some spice. Not a harsh bite or aftertaste. Really very unique flavors all theoughout. Hits alot of notes. I prefer sweeter over oily oaky, but its a lot better than it gets credit for.
