Agree with the comments regarding the thinness, but it really opens up after the initial sips and turns into a really pleasurable, smooth pour. Others say it's not smokey, I thought it was... And yes, is the salty air real or just my imagination? Fun either way.

Received Blanton's as a gift a couple of years ago, got me hooked. I've tried many others, I always come back to Blanton's. Complex and spicy, long satisfying burn. My favorite.

Had at Farmhouse in Nashville. Smooth, subtle aroma (one ice cube). Almost like a rye. Will definitely get again.
