Bought to make a sazerac cocktail but had to try neat.

First tasting and I believe my palette to be pretty sideways today. Lighter red amber with legs that take a long time to form if ever. The glass just seems to stay slick with little short runs forming at the top. Nose is a nice quintessential bourbon with nothing standing out except to let you know you are nosing bourbon. The flavor is artfully done and still nothing stands out to me at this time except to be decidedly bourbon. Long lasting flavor with lingering notes of spice and a good mix of oily and drying from the high proof

Thick long juicy legs with a nice light amber color. Oak and caramel on the nose with a spicy sweetness. Creamy butterscotch with cinnamon and nutmeg. Nice and long with no real burn but pleasant warmth and oily finish.

Slow to format almost nonexistent legs with a rich amber color. A slight tease of apples with a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg. Lightly fruity and spicy with vanilla caramel and oak char. Medium finish that's more then spicy and hot

Rich amber color with long big legs. Vanilla caramel and vanilla on the nose. Very quick almost grape like tart start then fades into a more traditional bourbon flavor of vanilla caramel and buttery flavor with a fairly long spicy and slightly oily finish

Dark amber/ruby with immediate long legs and then higher slower mini legs Campfire and cooking bacon. Smokey with a rich almost burnt caramelized sugar followed by dark roast coffee and leather. Silkie smooth medium finish. Drank with water back dinner about an hour ago of pirogi and Romain salad with olive oil/raspberry balsamic dressing.
