Pears! Pears on the nose and pleasant char on the finish. Definitely a dessert scotch. Very sweet nose, reminds me of pancake syrup.

Noticeable char, although I prefer the three wood. Seems too one dimensional for such an old Scotch.

Smoke is much more subtle on the nose than the 12yr, finish is long and incredibly smooth. Hard not to drink more each sip than you plan to. (~$175 CDN)

Comfortable level of spice, very pleasant and warming. Slightly higher proof is indistinguishable from the typical 80 in regards to heat.
