Tastes

Nose- Black Cherry and Alcohol Initial taste is alcohol initially but hard to nail down some oily wood I think but is all very fast and straight to the Finish- Burn baby burn with some hint of apples and cherry but mostly burnt wood and Burn. Well I am glad I tried as this is an interesting experiment that maybe with time gets better. At this point I will call it uneven and as others have said unfinished.

Thin and apparently from the taste a young whisky. I bought it because of the bottle and it is bottled in my home state. Hopefully this brand gets better over time but at this point it is a mixer for me.

This a good young but tasty bourbon. I have yet to find a bottle but did go to a tasting and it made a good lasting impression. Look forward to making it a regular in the home bar.

Lots of flavor with this one. Sweet on the nose with a bit of alcohol. Lots of nuts and cinnamon with some tannins on the palette. Finish is moderate and nice with some sweet fruit and nuts with a decent burn.

Just recently bought my first bottle. Officially my favorite Tennessee Whiskey! Great everyday not as sweet as Jack and rich in flavor and of course smooth!!

Fantastic bourbon! Do not let the proof intimidate you this is good stuff. I will be honest have never tried any other Wild Turkey so I can't compare like others. First off the nose is sweet and fruity with just the hint of oak and leather. The palette taste starts with some sweetness and then works into some nice subtle oak and caramel with some nice spice. Finishes sweet dried fruit and spice and a burn that lingers but not too long just enough really to make you go for another taste!! Not an everyday but certainly a nice one to have around in the top shelf
