Big time peat and salty, with sherry and dried fruit notes, strong smokiness. Long, long peppery finish that keeps punching my uvula late into the night.

Full rich and sweet from the get-go, the taste of sherry and fruit lend to a hint of spicy finish,the extra 4 years maturing gives it a more full and complex taste than the 12

On the nose it takes a second to find the peat, the taste has a good balance of salt, brine, and peat one could find a somewhat chocolaty short-medium finish

With a touch of water this turned out to be a pretty good lighter feeling whisky, notes of honey and vanilla, as but boozy without the water though.

Excellent! Deep fruit, spicy with notes of ginger, anise, and nutmeg make for a mulled wine feeling. Such a long lasting finish that maintains a complexity’s every single drop.
