E.H. Taylor, Jr. Small Batch Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed December 4, 2025 (edited December 20, 2025)Rich, full, some spice, vanilla, and oak. Well balanced long finish. Pretty smooth for the abv. Very good if you can find as msrp. Give it a slight edge over eagle rare although it’s a different flavor profile, this being more oakey and balanced and ER being sweeter vanilla caramel.65.0 USD per Bottle -

Hancock's President's Reserve Single Barrel Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed September 5, 2025I like it but not a ton of character. Some caramel and vanilla but a bit more of that burnt oak or tobacco flavor than id like. -
Dalmore Cigar Malt Reserve
Single Malt — Highlands, Scotland
Reviewed January 4, 2025 (edited January 5, 2025)This is realy good. One of the more balanced and complex whiskeys ive had. The peat comes through and so does the sherry. But just the right amount, neither overpowers. Really tasty. -
Smoke Wagon Uncut Unfiltered Bourbon
Bourbon — Indiana (bottled in Nevada), USA
Reviewed December 13, 2024 (edited December 30, 2024)Nice thick mouthfeel and not as hot as you would expect for 58%. Read another review that mentioned red hots. I definitely get that. Not my favorite profile but it’s definitely a solid bourbon.65.0 USD per Bottle -
Four Roses Yellow Label Bourbon
Bourbon — Kentucky, USA
Reviewed October 20, 2024 (edited December 18, 2024)Super easy drinking. Not super flavorful but still tastes good and really smooth. A great intro bourbon. It’s really good for what it is. This is to bourbon as monkey shoulder is to scotch.
