Decent flavor, although not my favorite. A little hot even for the proof. Also wish the mouthfeel was better given its a cask strength. Its a step down from blue spot for me. Its good just not worth the money imo ($100 per bottle these days. Used to be $70).

A little sweet up front and smoke on the back end. Possibly a little too light but on a later visit this tasted a little fuller with a nice oily mothfeel. Most people taste less smoke than me on this. If I want some smoke, hp12 might be the right amount for me as i can easily taste the smoke but its not quite overpowering.
