Don Cuco Sotol Suave
Sotol — Juarez, Janos, Chihuahua , MexicoReviewed February 23, 2020Has a very sweet and vegetal nose, reminds me of the free stick of bubble gum that would come in a pack of baseball cards when I was a kid. Has a sort of gum root taste, and not smoky like its mezcal cousin. Very good for a twist-off-top. One of, if not, the first sotol imported into the USA.

Gracias a Dios Mezcal Tepextate
Mezcal Joven — Oaxaca, MexicoReviewed January 28, 2020Sweet and vegetal on the nose. For the taste it is less vegetal but has a strong smoke and leather notes. After a few tastes the leather is replaced with a bit of the sweetness from the nose as well as some earthiness. Very enjoyable. Will have to try their other expressions at some point.
