Nose is a bit strong. After backing off, I smell brown sugar, and vanilla. Taste is orange peel, light oak, burnt sugar. Whiskey is on the hot side and a bit spicy. Bought this as a possible replacement for my decanter. I use the decanter to keep my guests from searching out my expensive whiskey in the cabinets. My current decanter whiskey is Elijah Craig. Elijah Craig is the superior whiskey.

Nose smells of vanilla, caramel and mild citrus. Palate is cinnamon and pepper, then turns to caramel and orange peel before turning back to white pepper. A fairly long finish. A light smooth feel in the mouth. Good value at 34.99.

My favorite Irish whiskey. Light, fruity, spices. Vanilla, honey. Smooth

I get the oak flavor, with some leather and spices. Pretty good.
