Immediately among my top 5 peated scotches regardless of age or distillery. The nose is fierce, with smoked bacon covered in fruit jam. The palate was equally strong and full, bringing more like pineapple and salted meat. Finish is long and lingering where the fruitiness, saltiness and smokiness perfectly alternate from front to back. This is a masterpiece by Laphroaig and my favorite offering from them to date.

Really good overall, amazing for the price. Classic rye spice and some vanilla sweetness to balance it out. Enough character to interest me yet smooth enough my wife enjoyed it.

Excellently balanced rye that drinks much like a high rye bourbon. This is the best of the average proof ryes I’ve ever had.
