    Nose: slight for the proof, thin brown sugar, vanilla bean, ethanol astringency P: dry wood dominates, a little sweetness is quickly dissipated into overwhelmingly dry wood spice as the bottle opened Tx1 edition- liked it less as the bottle went down

    Nose: apricots and peaches. Milk chocolate. Lemon grass and raw honey, vanilla P: strawberries and lemon, chocolate covered fruit like pineapple, banana bread; pepper, cinnamon and oak follow, balcones toffee/brittle finish Well rounded and even, this would be great for double the price, for $35 it's amazing

    N: cinnamon, orange peel, sugary fruit or jam, floral, Carmel popcorn P: dry oak, maple/brown sugar pastries, pepper, grilled corn, dark red fruits Slightly dry - mild astringent finish, unique and delicious

    Nose - sweet tea. bitter chocolates. Anise and mint. Vanilla creamer. Nutmeg and dry wood. Palate- big league chew. Toasty marshmallow. Weak Peppermints. Finish - sweet up front then a rush of dry and tannins, not over the edge but just to the point. Tingling like after you use mouthwash, mint lingers

    Really nice for the cost as a daily drinker, non-chill filtered, rich for the abv, prominent Carmel and spice but not harsh and is well rounded, great value for $29, not overly complex but I enjoyed it, high on the value scale

    Very Nice, first nose was powerful smoke - reminded me of a slow burning smoker with a brisket on it, with time it faded into the background and lighter floral and honeyed notes came out, very interesting, can't say I've had anything like it

    Nothing on the nose except ethanol somehow even though it's 81 proof, thin mouth feel with slight bitterness into a vanilla bomb that disappears quick

    Always liked four roses flavor profile, this is a nice presentation of it and a great "classic" bourbon for the price, rich and full, non-chill filtered - its great. Sweet lingering finish, smoothed and well rounded, nothing out of the ordinary, but well done for what it is
