This is a knockout, rich and creamy, deep chocolate, creme brulee or sticky buns, palate is Andes mint, butter cream frosting, and a little of the mezcal on the tail end, long lingering finish. Terrific

Nice Sherry and oak that shine through, not traditionally a big fan of glenmorangie but this one has a little more backbone and richness to me, traditional light sweetness and floral notes remain

Nose - skillet cornbread. leather oil, wet honeycomb. Underripe white flesh peaches. Raw biscuit dough. Carmelized light brown sugar. Palate - Cracker Jacks. Grilled white corn and something floral such as honeysuckle. Honeycomb cereal. Finish - wispy honey and spice up front and dry honey returns at the end with oaky sawdust and powdered sugar icing. moderately long. Light and tight Conclusion - good complexity for the proof, probably the best flavored whiskey I’ve had, this loses some for the value compared to the cost, but very nice, got a little too sweet by the end of the bottle

This was a sample bottle so I don't know if something was wrong, but this was undrinkable, if you ever got pine tar in your mouth paying baseball that's the closest thing I can compare it to

Distinctly makers, but improved from the standard, sweetness is there but the oak shows up more, still slightly astringent in the finish and the alcohol seems a bit higher than it actually is, makes me interested in their other finishes though

Toasted (not burnt) marshmallow, vanilla extract, Heath bar, fig, oily and rich, prominent oak but not aggressive, a significant upgrade from the standard offering

Nose -some citrus and light vanilla sweetness, honeysuckle, floral and grassy Palate - heavy notes of black tea, nutmeg and anise, honey and mild spice but not overwhelming, good complexity and interesting profile would like more richness personally

Nice presentation of classic bourbon flavors but nothing unique or standout, smooth and well rounded but not very rich or lingering, priced too high imo

Very approachable and easy drinking for a peated whiskey, good smoke on the nose but lacks the malt backing on both the nose and taste, not overly complex and lacking the richness and finish of some peated single malts, very enjoyable, would be a nice daily peated or introduction to peated

I picked this bottle blind at the distillery so this bottle has selection bias, has the same flavors as the small batch but a little more clear and intense. Distinct Garrison nose, wood, sawdust, leather, sweet corn, light sweetness, mouth is a little thin up front but hits the back palate, spice, cinnamon, vanilla, moderate finish
