Delicious. Smooth, sweet, syrupy, fruity. Impressed.

Drinks well below its proof. Incredibly complex, beautiful color. A massive step above GB small batch. Gorgeous presentation and packaging. Half star off due to outrageous cost ($250 MSRP). Prefer this to 2021 Cowboy, Balmorhea, and Guadalupe.

Spent 3-4 days tasting this and giving it a chance. I’m a long time Texan, so I yearned for something special here. Absolutely not worth $80 by any stretch of the imagination. Tastes young, hot (only 94 proof) and like smoky hay/cornbread. I’d not purchase this at $30. All other expressions of GB are better due to longer aging. Balmorhea + Cowboy 22 are great, but only if you have a spare $200 sitting around. I’d buy those at $50-70 happily. GB does have incredible marketing and charismatic staff!

Tastes young & hot. Grass, cornbread, oak.

Go-to. Always available and always delicious. Prefer this to regular MM, MM 101, and MM Cask Strength.

Ok. Was looking forward to this bottle but it didn’t wow me at all when served neat. Good in Manhattans + Old Fashioneds and added some nice complexity.

Decent for price point. Not spectacular neat or on the rocks. I enjoy this immensely more mixed with 1:1 or 2:3 with Old Grand Dad 114.

This made me question if I like wheated bourbons. Drank 90% of this in cocktails after trying neat.

Hot. Looked forward to getting this one off of my shelf. Drank most of this on the rocks or in and old fashioned. Drinks every bit of its proof.
