Mellow, sweet notes of peanut brittle and cherry cordial that linger with a bitter vegetable note.

Cherry, caramel, waxy, tobacco, gummy bears.

Major notes of caramel, maple, and oak spice. Hints of cherry and banana chips.

The 70% single malt stands out on the nose, red and green apples, touch of cinnamon, oak, sea salt, orange pith, light pineapple juice with coconut water, sunflower seeds, light peppercorn. Much of the same on the palate with heavy sweet orange cream liquor, vanilla, and some pineapple juice. I’ve never had a whisky so creamy and oily. This is very tasty.

Update: Batch 14 is just as good as the first batch I had. “Milk chocolate with fresh cherries, concentrated syrupy raspberries. More vanilla bean and more vanilla bean, melted brown sugar, orange pith, and cinnamon.” —— Woah, did not know this was uncut when I ordered it...didn’t take me long to realize. I guessed 64%, but 67% will do. I’m also too stubborn to try and pour some of my water into my glass, so I had it straight. Syrupy nose of butter and vanilla bean. I could smell enough holding the glass a foot away from my nose. Milk chocolate with fresh cherries, concentrated syrupy raspberries. More vanilla bean and more vanilla bean, melted brown sugar, orange pith, and cinnamon. Okay, I’m convinced I need a bottle. I was going out on a limb ordering something that I wasn’t familiar with, one of the cheaper options on the menu. No mistake made today.
