Black Barrel contains a significant proportion of pot still whisky (75% from what I’ve heard). Although an NAS whiskey, it puts Bushmills 10 to shame. Beautiful notes of caramel and vanilla sweetness from the bourbon barrels combined with a juicy dark fruit aroma and flavors from the sherry casks. The mouthfeel is surprisingly chewy. My only complaint is from the low abv of 40%. I actually consider it to be my runner-up to Redbreast 12. Excellent value from a truly underrated Irish whiskey!39.99 USD per BottleABC SELECT SPIRITS

American Peated Single Malt Whiskey, the first of it’s kind in the state of Alabama. Vastly improved over the first edition in 2015. The use of quarter casts and climate controlled maturation gives the whiskey maturity beyond its years and is a vast improvement over the former five-gallon casks. The complex peach and pecan wood smoked malt complements the sweet malt base. The $44.99 USD cannot be beat. A solid value and a solid whiskey!44.99 USD per BottleABC SELECT SPIRITS

What a wonderful dram and value to boot! An absolute gem of a mass produced blended scotch whisky. Nose: Very subdued with mild hints of orange blossom honey and caramel. Just the faintest whiff of smoke. Palate: Light, crisp, clean apples and pears. Typical Speyside sweetness is present without being cloying due to a mildly bitter chocolate astringency from the casks oak tannins. Earthy peat is present but in the shyest capacity. Finish: There seems to be no end in sight to this finish. A delicious assimilation of sweet tropical flavors combined with caramel and sherry lingers on the palate for minutes!84.99 USD per BottleABC SELECT SPIRITS
